Can home cooks finally replicate the legendary eleven herbs and spices?
In short: This video explores the pursuit of the elusive KFC secret recipe. After testing various leaked versions and copycat attempts, Glen and Friends Cooking presents a refined formula aimed at achieving the authentic flavor of the Colonel's original fried chicken.
The quest for the perfect KFC clone has faced numerous failures. Previous attempts, including the Chicago Tribune leak, Todd Wilbur's recipe, and versions by Quang Tran and Nicko's Kitchen, were described as anything from horrible to merely mediocre. Even versions from Chris LEA and Recipe30 failed to hit the mark.
This episode focuses on a specific, evolving hack designed to finally crack the code. The current working formula involves mixing ground ingredients with 200g of flour and 25g of salt to recreate the iconic taste.
