Discovering the lost photographic legacy of Qajar Iran

Curated by Dr. Tasha Vorderstrasse, the exhibit 'Antoin Sevruguin: Past and Present' offers the first public viewing of the OI Museum’s collection of albumen prints. These works, primarily attributed to Sevruguin, capture a pivotal period in Iranian history.
The exhibition, which ran from April 1 to December 31, 2021, also featured a catalogue supported by several organizations, including the American Institute of Iranian Studies, which also provided funding for the essential conservation of these historic prints.
