From hidden objects to massive artillery: the unconventional history of firearms
In short: Firearms have not always been designed for the open battlefield. This video explores the fascinating ways weapons have been disguised, oversized for power, or repurposed from the Second World War.
The video examines the secret history of disguised firearms, weapons engineered to be hidden within everyday objects for concealment rather than combat. It also looks at the era of oversized guns, which sacrificed portability to achieve maximum power.
Beyond these historical oddities, the presentation shows how lethal tools produced during World War Two continue to be used in modern contexts.
