New drone footage offers clues to the Great Pyramid's construction
In short: Recent drone photography provides an unprecedented view of the Great Pyramid's summit. This video invites you to examine the evidence left behind by ancient builders and investigate the mysterious methods used to transport massive megalithic blocks to the structure's peak.
The footage allows for a detailed inspection of the pyramid's apex, where researchers can observe specific clues regarding the construction process. One particular area of interest is a single dark stone that contrasts sharply with the surrounding yellow limestone. This feature raises questions about whether the stone possesses a different composition or if granite was utilized at the very top of the structure.
The video also prompts a reflection on the pyramid's appearance, specifically regarding the presence or absence of the metal scaffolding that once marked the original apex of Khufu's pyramid.
