Could the monsters of British folklore have a basis in reality?
In short: This documentary explores the legendary creatures of England, Scotland, and Wales. It investigates whether these myths are purely products of imagination or if they might be rooted in real-world phenomena.
The video examines famous cryptids, including the Loch Ness Monster and the creature of Loch Morar, known as Morag. It considers the possibility that these sightings are not just folklore but may stem from tangible origins.
By examining how these myths were documented during the 1800s, the study investigates the borderlands and Northern Counties of England's local traditions. By analyzing these accounts, the documentary seeks to bridge the gap between myth and historical reality.
