Mastering the mechanics of a viral dance floor staple
In short: This tutorial breaks down the specific choreography for the 'Quest Crew' routine from LMFAO’s Party Rock. It is worth watching to understand how complex group movements are built from simple, repetitive counts.
The video provides a step-by-step breakdown of a dance sequence set to the beat of 5678 and 1234. It covers foundational moves including 'heads down' positions, right and left doubles, regular shuffles, and specific 'step back' maneuvers.
The routine incorporates partner work with different requirements based on your position: those on the left perform a step-back followed by a hop, while those on the right execute a continuous 12345678 sequence inspired by old-school styles like Kid 'n Play.
