The fragile line between surrender and strategic deception
In short: This walkthrough explores the tense atmosphere of a military infiltration where a white flag might be a mask for deeper motives.
The narrative centers on the tension between official orders to surrender and the suspicion that enemy forces are planning something else. While an ISA general ordered immediate capitulation, soldiers on the ground note that the opposing side's rhetoric—promising justice and revenge—suggests they may not intend to honor a white flag.
The conflict is framed by a history of industrial power and military expansion. A leader addresses the Helgan people, claiming their nation was built on both visionary purpose and powerful factories, while criticizing the current army for becoming 'fat, lazy, and careless.' This sets the stage for a campaign aimed at cutting out 'compliance and subjugation.'
