How English Electric was formed

The owners of the component companies took up the shares in English Electric. 3. In November 1919, English Electric bought the Stafford works of Siemens Brothers Dynamo Works Ltd. 4. In 1960, English Electric Aircraft merged with Vickers and Bristol to form British Aircraft Corporation.
