Designed by Monty Don and Jamie Butterworth, the garden features a central lawn intended for activities like chasing balls and sleeping. Large UK native trees provide necessary shade, while brick paths—inspired by the movements of Monty's dog, Ned—meander through ornamental spring bulbs.
The garden serves a dual purpose: celebrating the bond between humans and pets while raising awareness about toxic plants. Some bricks even bear the names of dogs, including those belonging to the King and Queen. Following the 2025 show, the garden will move to Battersea Dogs and Cats Home, where experts will select dog-friendly plants for rescue animals.
