In short: Artist Gillian Barlow reveals the creation of a new botanical painting commissioned by the Royal Horticultural Society to honor Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee. This work joins a historic collection of royal autographs spanning two centuries.

The Royal Horticultural Society commissioned artist Gillian Barlow to produce a signature painting featuring flowers found within their gardens. This piece serves as a commemorative addition to the RHS Lindley Library's collection, which holds royal autographs from European monarchs dating back over 200 years.

The video documents Barlow's creative process. Visitors can view facsimiles of the royal signature at the Lindley Library in London, as well as at the libraries of RHS Garden Harlow Carr and RHS Garden Wisley in Hilltop throughout June.
