Can technology connect us to the world instead of distracting us?
In short: Meron Gribetz demonstrates the Meta 2, an augmented reality headset designed to merge digital and physical realities. Watch how this hardware aims to extend human senses by making holograms interactable as if they were physical objects.
The Meta 2 headset moves beyond traditional screens to create a more natural machine interface. It allows users to see, grab, and move holograms, treating digital elements with the same tactile logic as physical items.
Gribetz argues for a shift in how we perceive technology: rather than acting as a distraction from the real world, these tools should deepen our connection to our surroundings. The presentation includes a first-time demonstration of the device and a Q&A with TED Curator Chris Anderson.
