A message of peace visible only from a mountain peak
In short: Artist eL Seed explores the intersection of traditional Arabic calligraphy and modern graffiti to create a massive mural across 50 buildings in Cairo. This ambitious project offers a unique perspective on how art can communicate hope on a monumental scale.
In the district of Manshiyat Naser, Egypt, eL Seed has executed a project that blends his signature style of colorful, swirling messages with the heritage of Arabic calligraphy. The work is designed as a cohesive mural spanning 50 different buildings.
The project is notable for its scale and perspective: it is intended to be viewed as a single, unified image that can only be fully appreciated from a nearby mountain. By moving from individual walls to a collective landscape, the artist seeks to project a message of peace across an entire urban environment.
