Why animals choose to act as a collective rather than alone
In short: This video explores how evolution shapes group behaviors to maximize survival. By examining how species coordinate, we can understand the vital link between individual actions and the successful transmission of genetic material.
The video examines how group dynamics, such as schooling in fish or herding in wildebeest, function as survival strategies. These coordinated behaviors serve two primary purposes: providing immediate protection from predators and ensuring the successful passing of genetic material to the next generation.
