The video explores the life of Otto Weidt, a German businessman whose efforts to protect his employees mirror the legendary story of Oskar Schindler. While Schindler is famous for saving over a thousand Jewish lives through his factories in occupied Poland and Czechoslovakia, Weidt's story is much more obscure.
Though Weidt only managed to save approximately 30 employees, the video details the heroic lengths he went to in order to ensure their survival and defy Nazi authorities.
