Revolutionary icon or ruthless warlord: the dual legacy of Che Guevara
In short: Che Guevara remains one of the most recognizable faces in modern history. This video examines the polarizing debate over his true identity, weighing his status as a champion of the oppressed against his reputation for systemic repression.
The presentation puts the life of the former medical student on trial to explore two conflicting narratives. On one side stands the image of a heroic revolutionary dedicated to the poor; on the other is the reality of a leader associated with violence and authoritarian rule.
By analyzing these opposing perspectives, the video seeks to determine whether Guevara's legacy is defined by his ideals or the methods he used to achieve them.
