The immigration crisis is a mirror reflecting our own humanity
In short: Author Juan Enriquez moves the debate over the US-Mexico border from abstract policy to personal responsibility. He explores how our treatment of others defines our national and individual identities.
Enriquez argues that the immigration crisis is less about physical borders and more about the fundamental question of who we are as a people. By sharing stories from inside the crisis, he aims to ground the political discourse in human experience.
The talk provides a call to action, suggesting that individuals can make a difference every day by actively creating a sense of belonging for immigrants.
