How music and poetry bridge the gap between us in a digital age
In short: Musician and comedian Elle Cordova explores human connection through performance, pondering the cosmic void to find how we reach out to one another.
During her TED2024 talk, Elle Cordova uses whimsical themes like the era before the Big Bang to explore the nature of social media and modern connection. Joined by guitarist Toni Lindgren, she performs the original song 'Carl Sagan,' using the metaphor of stars in the night sky to illustrate how humans attempt to connect across the digital void.
