What if the world's most famous superhero landed in the Soviet Union instead?
In short: This video explores the premise of the comic book series Superman: Red Son. It examines a world where the Man of Steel is raised as a communist icon rather than an American hero, offering a unique perspective on a classic character.
The narrative was crafted by Mark Millar, a celebrated comic author who has been appointed to the Order of the British Empire. By shifting the character's origin to the USSR, the story reimagines the ideological landscape of the twentieth century through the lens of a super-powered individual serving the Soviet state.
