What if every person on Earth could vote in your election?
In short: Policy advisor Simon Anholt explores a radical experiment in democracy: an online platform that allows anyone, anywhere to cast a ballot in any country's national election.
Simon Anholt intends for Global Vote to connect the majority of the human population with the tiny minority responsible for choosing global heads of state. Anholt argues that global stability requires leaders who prioritize the needs of every human and animal on the planet, rather than just their own domestic voters.
Anholt, who has advised over 50 countries and launched the Good Country Index in 2014, suggests that this shift toward global perspective is essential. He even proposes a 'Good Country Party' model designed to look beyond national borders.
