A mother bear's perilous journey through dangerous rapids
In short: Witness a mother bear leading her cub through turbulent waters in a desperate search for food after prime fishing spots have been claimed by others.
This footage from the 2021 series Eden: Untamed Planet captures the struggle for survival in Earth's most isolated ecosystems. The episode explores how animals navigate fragile, species-rich landscapes—from the Namib Desert to Patagonia—that remain largely untouched by human interference.
As human presence approaches these delicate lands, the series reveals the thrilling and often dangerous behaviours of iconic species living in nature's last remaining Edens.
