Nature refuses to be pushed out of our concrete jungles
In short: Explore how wildlife adapts to and thrives within urban environments. This documentary captures the persistent evolution of species navigating the complexities of modern cities.
The film explores the concept of 'City Evolution,' examining how animals adapt to human-made landscapes in locations like New York City, Berlin, and Montpellier. It highlights the resilience of nature as it finds ways to inhabit and 'hack' urban spaces, showcasing a new frontier for evolutionary biology.
By documenting these interactions, the creators illustrate that cities are not just barriers to wildlife but active environments where natural selection continues to play out in real-time.
