Timeframes are not something that giraffes can perceive or understand
In short: While humans navigate life through past, present, and future, many animals exist in a different temporal reality. This documentary explores how wildlife experiences existence without clocks or calendars.
The film examines the distinction between human chronological measurement—spanning millions of years or individual lifespans—and the lived experience of African savannah wildlife. Rather than counting time, animals respond to the eternal pulse of nature, including seasonal rhythms and cycles of rain and drought.
By observing species like the giraffe, the documentary reveals how survival is dictated by instinct and light rather than a linear timeline. It offers a perspective on a world where time is not an abstract concept to be measured, but a continuous flow of lived experience.
