The biological cost of passion in Spain's wild frontiers
In short: Explore how the Iberian Peninsula serves as a stage for some of nature's most intense reproductive behaviors. This documentary captures the high-stakes drama where animals risk everything for the next generation.
Drawing on sociological observations that label Spain as a passionate nation, this film explores whether wild fauna mirrors that same intensity. It highlights species that engage in violent combat or expose themselves to predators simply to secure a mate.
The narrative shifts from these initial 'frenzies' to the subsequent unconditional devotion parents show their offspring. This cycle of passion often demands ultimate sacrifice, as parents frequently risk their lives to ensure the survival of their young.
