The hidden social networks of forests may be more intelligent than we think

In short: Beneath the forest floor lies a complex communication system. This video explores how trees interact, share resources, and potentially care for their offspring through sophisticated underground networks.

Drawing on decades of research by Peter Wohlleben and Suzanne Simard, the footage highlights observations of tree communication. It examines the idea that trees are not isolated individuals but part of a social structure where they recognize family ties and support younger growth.

The content focuses on the findings presented in Wohlleben's 'The Hidden Life of Trees,' illustrating how these biological interactions form an intelligent, interconnected ecosystem.
