Witnessing a rare moment of predation in the Arizona desert
In short: Naturalist Nick Baker travels to Arizona to capture an incredibly rare sight: a close-up view of a rattlesnake feeding on its prey.
In this segment from the 2001 series 'Deep into the Wild', Nick Baker attempts to get as close as possible to one of the world's most formidable predators. The footage offers a rare opportunity to observe the feeding mechanics of the rattlesnake, documenting a moment so elusive that even Baker's guide had never witnessed it before.
