The prehistoric monsters we never knew existed
In short: Discover a world of dinosaurs far stranger than Hollywood monsters. This film explores how recent paleontological breakthroughs have fundamentally changed our understanding of these ancient rulers.
Taken from the 2011 production 'Planet Dinosaur' and narrated by John Hurt, the video examines the bizarre evolutionary paths of creatures that ruled Earth for over 250 million years. It highlights how dinosaurs inhabited every corner of the globe.
The scale of recent discovery is staggering: more dinosaur species have been identified in the last decade than in the preceding 200 years. This rapid influx of knowledge reveals a prehistoric era much more monstrous and unexpected than previously imagined.
