In short: As wildebeest undertake a massive 3000 kilometre journey, even a simple drink can turn fatal. This video captures the high-octane drama of a crocodile preparing for an underwater ambush.

The footage is part of a larger look at the great wildebeest migration, a year-long circular journey involving thousands of wildebeest, zebra, and antelope. Through remote cameras, the story follows the individual experiences of a baby wildebeest and a young zebra as they navigate a landscape filled with predators like hyenas, leopards, jackals, cheetahs, and crocodiles.
