How the Map Men tackled the global challenge of Geoguessr in real life
In short: The Map Men take on the popular geography game Geoguessr, but with a twist: they actually travel to the locations. This video documents their genuine journeys, proving that their exploration was entirely authentic without the use of special effects.
The Map Men demonstrate their commitment to environmental responsibility by donating a portion of their fee to two specific charities. They support UNDO, which utilizes enhanced weathering technology to sequester carbon dioxide into the soil, and TREE SISTERS, an organization focused on planting millions of trees through community-led initiatives.
The production emphasizes authenticity, noting that the only visual effect employed was a digital alteration to Jay's ears. The journeys themselves were conducted in reality, rather than through simulated or edited footage.
