Can humans and Sumatra's endangered giants coexist in a shared landscape?
In short: Sumatra is home to some of the world's most iconic wildlife, but human expansion is pushing these species toward extinction. This documentary follows dedicated activists and elite squads on the front lines of conservation.
The film explores the urgent struggle to protect four specific endemic species: elephants, tigers, rhinos, and orangutans. It moves beyond simple observation to examine the core conflict of modern conservation—finding a way for humans and animals to share the same land without one displacing the other.
By following a passionate naturalist and various committed teams, the narrative highlights the practical efforts required to preserve what remains of Sumatra's natural paradise. It serves as a look into the high-stakes work of those fighting to ensure these 'big four' do not vanish from the wild.
