Engineering is not just building; it is the architecture of our world
In short: The field of engineering is so vast that it can be difficult to define its boundaries. This video visualizes that complexity through a comprehensive map, helping you navigate the diversity of the discipline and identify potential career paths.
By creating a visual 'Map of Engineering,' the presenter attempts to organize the immense variety of engineering sub-disciplines into a single coherent picture. The goal is to provide a mental framework for understanding how different branches interconnect and where specific specializations lie.
This overview serves as a guide for those looking to enter the field, providing clarity on what engineering actually encompasses beyond common perceptions. It aims to help students and professionals set bounds on the subject while exploring its wide-reaching influence on modern life.
