Scientists Tried to Change Hurricanes: What Happened?
In short: From 1962 to 1983, Project STORMFURY seeded hurricanes with silver iodide to weaken their winds, until later observations showed that its encouraging results could not be separated from storms' natural behaviour.
A 1:24 short film in the series “Invisible Atmosphere”, narrated by intellect_voice_01.
