Defend the New World against a Martian invasion in this alternate history shooter
In short: Scott Manley explores Jamestown, a bullet hell game where you play as Walter Raleigh. You must fight off a combined force of Spanish invaders and Martians to protect colonial settlements in a fast-paced, action-oriented take on historical fiction.
Developed by Final Form Games, Jamestown reimagines the colonization of the New World through the lens of intense, high-speed combat. Unlike slower-paced historical strategy titles, this game focuses on arcade-style mechanics that pit the player against extraterrestrial threats alongside traditional historical adversaries.
The game serves as an alternative history scenario, placing the player in the role of Walter Raleigh. It is designed for those seeking a more aggressive, reflex-based experience compared to other period-themed games like Martian Dreams.
