What is life actually like aboard the International Space Station?
In short: NASA astronaut Chris Cassidy connects with middle school students from his home state of Massachusetts to share firsthand insights into the realities of living and working in orbit.
During a NASA In-Flight Educational event, Massachusetts native Chris Cassidy answered questions from students at Talbot Innovation Middle School in Fall River. The video captures the experience of a three-man crew operating on the International Space Station. At the time of the event, the station's population was set to increase on May 28, U.S. time, when three new members—including astronaut Karen Nyberg—were scheduled to arrive, returning the laboratory to its standard six-person capacity.
