In short: Watch ESA astronaut Alexander Gerst manage the critical process of unloading cargo from the Automated Transfer Vehicle Georges Lemaître to the International Space Station, ensuring vital life-support supplies are secured.

During his Blue Dot mission, Alexander Gerst was tasked with unloading the contents of the Automated Transfer Vehicle (ATV) Georges Lemaître. This involved the delicate operation of opening valves and monitoring pressure to transfer 100 kg of oxygen stored in the vehicle's tanks to the International Space Station.

The Georges Lemaître carried a total of 6602 kg of freight to the station. This payload included 2680 kg of dry cargo, alongside 3922 kg of water, propellants, and gases.
