Can three thousand players destroy a supercarrier using only the smallest ships available?
In short: This video examines the player-organized Flight Of A Thousand Rifters III event, a massive battle within the game Eve Online. It highlights how thousands of participants coordinated to challenge one of the game's most powerful vessels using only basic frigates.
To mark the tenth anniversary of Eve Online, players orchestrated a unique combat experiment. The objective was to test whether a swarm of Rifter-class frigates—the smallest ships in the game—could successfully overwhelm and destroy a Nyx Supercarrier, one of the largest and most formidable ships in the game's universe.
The event stands out as a significant example of player-driven content within the game's ecosystem, showcasing the scale of coordination possible when thousands of individuals converge for a single tactical challenge.
