The celestial serpent divided by a human figure
In short: Serpens is unique among constellations for being split into two distinct parts. This video guides you through locating the stars of this celestial serpent and explores the mythological legends that shaped its placement in our night sky.
Unlike many recognizable star patterns, Serpens is physically separated by the constellation Ophiuchus. To find it, one must look for these two distinct sections which represent a single serpentine body. The video provides practical navigation for stargazers to identify these specific stars and contextualizes them through the traditional legends that define their positions.
