In short: This video captures a high-stakes speedrun through the core loop of space exploration: building, launching, landing, and returning from the Mun in Kerbal Space Program.
Scott Manley attempts a rigorous challenge using only stock version 1.2.2 of Kerbal Space Program, without the aid of mods or subassemblies. To succeed, the vehicle must be built one part at a time, launched to the Mun, and landed softly for at least one second. The run is only complete once a safe return to Kerbin is achieved, all verified by video footage.
