The Magic Multiverse is a finite structure of distinct planes
In short: The Magic: The Gathering multiverse is often perceived as an endless expanse, but its underlying cosmology is more structured than it appears. This video breaks down the mechanics of how these worlds are formed, sustained, and destroyed.
The video explores the fundamental nature of the Multiverse, focusing on the concept of 'planes'—the individual worlds that comprise the setting. It examines the processes of creation and destruction that shape these environments, providing a cohesive framework for a lore that can often feel scattered.
Key sources cited include the 'Atlas of the Multiverse Remastered' and various novels and books like 'Planeswalker' and 'Mythic Odysseys of Theros'. These references help clarify that while the multiverse contains vast elements like the Blind Eternities and Omenpaths, its core structure is defined by specific, navigable planes rather than being purely infinite.
