You are currently traveling at over 1,000 miles per hour
In short: While you sit still, your body is hurtling through space at incredible speeds. This video explains why we don't feel this constant motion and how the universe operates on a principle of universal rotation.
At the equator, the Earth rotates at approximately 1,037 miles per hour—a speed that exceeds the flight velocity of any commercial airliner. Despite this intensity, humans experience no sensation of movement because every component of our immediate environment, including the atmosphere, architecture, and our own bodies, moves in unison.
The motion remains imperceptible until we establish a point of reference outside our planetary frame. By observing distant objects like the stars, we can finally perceive the constant rotation that defines our existence in the cosmos.
