How a photovoltaic system works
In short: A photovoltaic system converts the Sun's radiation into usable electricity using an arrangement of several components.
1. Solar panels absorb and convert sunlight into electricity. 2. A solar inverter converts the output from direct to alternating current. 3. Tracking systems follow the sun's daily path across the sky to generate more electricity than fixed-mounted systems. 4. The photovoltaic system is an electric power system designed to supply usable solar power.
