From a single hill in Kentucky to building a Norse hall
In short: Jacob Toddson shares his personal journey of reviving Norse Paganism in North America. This video explores how a private spiritual experience evolved into a growing community and a physical construction project.
The narrative begins with Toddson's personal spiritual awakening in 2016, leading to an offering to Odin in 2019 where he felt a divine presence. Using his professional background in photography and restaurant management, he began organizing gatherings to "gather the folk.", resulting in a Midsummer event for 27 people in Kentucky.
The movement has gained significant digital traction through the 'Wisdom of Odin' platform. Toddson is now pivoting from direct community management to promoting these gatherings and creating educational content while pursuing a long-term goal: constructing a dedicated Norse hall in North America.
