Branscombe Richmond has built a prolific career as an American character actor and stuntman, establishing a presence in the entertainment industry since the 1980s. He is perhaps most recognizable for his starring role as Bobby Sixkiller in the syndicated drama series Renegade, which ran from 1992 to 1997. Before finding success in that hit series, Richmond appeared in several television projects, including Hawaiian Heat in 1984 and Heart of the City from 1986 to 1987, where he frequently portrayed law enforcement officers.
Beyond his television pedigree, Richmond has a significant filmography that includes appearances in major productions like Star Trek III: The Search for Spock and Licence to Kill. His range extends into diverse genres, from historical dramas like Christopher Columbus: The Discovery to modern action films like Journey 2: The Mysterious Island.
He even ventured into the digital realm, providing the voice for the character Gibraltar in the popular video game Apex Legends. Richmond's creative output is not limited to the screen. Branscombe Richmond and the Renegade Posse was established by him during 1989, and the group still plays corporate gigs and travels across the USA. His ancestry—comprising Spanish, English, French, Tahitian, and Native Hawaiian roots—shapes his art; lately, he teamed up with his son to film a kids' movie in Kentucky. His enduring influence is noted by his 2003 induction into the Motorcycle Hall of Fame and even a musical tribute from the grindcore band Anal Cunt.
