In short: Before becoming a staple of television hosting and Broadway, Joey Fatone was a member of one of history's most successful boy bands. From singing baritone in NSYNC to competing on Dancing with the Stars, his career spans pop stardom, acting, and even running a hot dog restaurant.

Joey Fatone's rise to global fame began in the summer of 1995 in Orlando, Florida. While performing at Universal Studios Florida, he befriended Chris Kirkpatrick, who recruited him for a new vocal group. This lineup eventually included Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, and Lance Bass, forming the legendary boy band NSYNC.

The group achieved massive commercial success, selling over 70 million records worldwide. Fatone contributed lead vocals to tracks like "Together Again" and "I Thought She Knew" on the No Strings Attached album. While the band went on an indefinite hiatus in 2002, they have since reunited for notable one-off performances, including the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards and a 2019 appearance at Coachella.

Beyond music, Fatone has built a diverse television career. He served as the announcer for Family Feud from 2010 to 2015 and has hosted various programs on networks like Food Network and Game Show Network. He also demonstrated his dancing skills on ABC's Dancing with the Stars, where he finished as the runner-up in 2007.

His versatility extends to the stage and screen. He made his Broadway debut in 2002 playing the lead in Rent and later appeared in Little Shop of Horrors. In the culinary world, he co-owns Fat One's Hot Dogs & Italian Ice, which began in 2016 at The Florida Mall and has since expanded to a food truck and a location at Universal CityWalk.
