In short: Anis Hadj Moussa’s ascent through European football is a masterclass in rapid progression. In just a few seasons, the winger moved from the Belgian lower leagues to scoring on the grandest stage of all, catching the eyes of the continent's most elite clubs.

Born in Paris in 2002, Anis Hadj Moussa’s journey began in the youth ranks of US Torcy and FC Montfermeil. His talent eventually earned him a place in the RC Lens academy in 2018, where he progressed through the reserve team in National 2. However, his professional breakthrough occurred away from France, in the Belgian leagues.

In the summer of 2022, Moussa signed his first senior contract with Olympic Charleroi. After a standout period in the Nationale 1, he moved to Patro Eisden Maasmechelen in June 2023. His performances in the Challenger Pro League set the stage for a high-profile move to the Eredivisie. Following a loan spell at Vitesse Arnhem in February 2024, the Dutch club Feyenoord announced in April 2024 that he would join them on a five-year contract, a move that provided Patro Eisden with a record transfer fee.

Moussa's impact at the highest level was immediate. On 6 November 2024, he netted his first UEFA Champions League goal during a match against Red Bull Salzburg. By the end of the 2025–26 season, his productivity reached new heights, recording 14 goals and 7 assists across all competitions for Feyenoord. This form has placed him on the radar of giants like Borussia Dortmund and several Premier League sides.

On the international stage, Moussa has rapidly ascended the Algerian national team ranks. After representing Algeria at the under-20 and under-23 levels, he made his senior debut on 22 March 2024 against Bolivia. His rise continued through 2026, when he was named in Vladimir Petković's 26-man squad for the FIFA World Cup, following a goal against the Netherlands in June 2026.
