In short: Born Paige Wooding, this English wrestler has navigated broken noses, herniated discs, and near-retirement to become a global force. From the rings of Japan to the main stages of AEW, her journey is a testament to physical endurance and the mental discipline required to reach the summit of professional wrestling.

Born in Eastleigh on 23 April 1995, Paige Wooding transitioned to the ring under the name Jamie Hayter. Her career began in earnest on 2 May 2015, when she debuted by losing to Jinny Couture. Since that time, her global career has expanded through roles in Japan's Stardom and England's Revolution Pro Wrestling, the latter of which saw her and Bea Priestley become the inaugural non-Japanese duo to secure the Goddesses of Stardom Championship.

Hayter's career has been marked by significant championship success and physical adversity. She is a former AEW Women's World Champion, a title she secured at Full Gear after defeating Toni Storm. Her reign lasted 190 days before she lost the belt to Storm at Double or Nothing. This period was accompanied by severe physical tolls; she suffered a broken nose during a match against Thunder Rosa at Battle of the Belts III and later revealed she had suffered two herniated discs in her back, a condition that nearly forced her into retirement.

Beyond the physical combat, Hayter has become a prominent figure in All Elite Wrestling (AEW). She is currently a member of the United Empire and holds the AEW Women's World Tag Team Championship with Alex Windsor as part of the duo known as The Brawling Birds. Her technical skill and resilience have earned her high industry rankings, including being named the number 4 female singles wrestler in the 2023 PWI Women's 250. Wooding has also spoken openly about her ADHD and how the discipline of wrestling has served as a vital tool for managing it.
