The Bondsman an American black comedy action horror series created by Grainger David, premiered on Amazon Prime Video on April 3, 2025. The narrative centers on Hub, a character who returns from death to find his former life as a bounty hunter has taken on a demonic new twist. This supernatural shift serves as the backdrop for a story involving themes of second chances, love, and even a nearly forgotten musical career.
The production was a significant collaborative effort involving several high-profile entities. Prime Video commissioned eight half-hour episodes in June 2023. The series features executive producers from Blumhouse Television—including Jason Blum, Chris McCumber, Jeremy Gold, and Chris Dickie—alongside Paul Shapiro of CrimeThink. Filming for the project took place in Grantville, Georgia, during April 2024.

Jennifer Nettles joined in January 2024, followed by Beth Grant, Damon Herriman, Maxwell Jenkins, and Jolene Purdy in March 2024. The production concluded its run relatively quickly; despite its critical reception, the series was canceled on May 16, 2025, after only one season.
