How Long Does a Garden Snail Live?
In short: The brown garden snail, Cornu aspersum, takes a year or more to mature outdoors and rests through hot summers and cold winters; one university article gives 2 to 5 years as both its length of life and its adult life span, so the starting point is unclear.
