Engineering a successor to one of the world's fastest hypercars

£3.8m Bugatti Tourbillon: 1800hp V16 Hybrid Chiron Successor! | Top Gear | BBC Studios · 32:11 · Video: BBC Studios · Watch at the source

In short: Watch Bugatti boss Mate Rimac and Top Gear Magazine Editor-in-Chief Jack Rix tour the £3.8m Tourbillon, a machine designed to surpass the legendary Chiron.

The Bugatti Tourbillon replaces the Chiron by utilizing an all-new powertrain: a naturally aspirated 8.3-litre V16 engine capable of revving to 9000rpm. When paired with three electric motors, this hybrid system produces approximately 1,775bhp (or 1,800PS).

While the Chiron reached speeds over 300mph, the Tourbillon is limited to 277mph. Beyond performance, the car features a high-detail interior inspired by Pagani, featuring exposed mechanics in its intricate dials which provide the vehicle its name.
