Two thousand turtles arrive at an Indian beach to begin a perilous life cycle.
In short: Witness the intense struggle for survival as thousands of turtle hatchlings emerge on an Indian beach. Left entirely to fend for themselves, these newborns must navigate a gauntlet of predators to reach the safety of the ocean.
This footage captures the raw reality of mass nesting, where approximately 2,000 turtles congregate to lay their eggs. Once the hatchlings emerge, they face an immediate and dangerous journey across the sand.
The survival of these turtles depends on their ability to evade predators waiting to strike before they reach the water. This brief, high-stakes window highlights the brutal efficiency of natural selection in the earliest stages of life.
