Are dogs secretly influencing humanity through a hidden communication network?
In short: This unconventional documentary explores the profound bond between humans and dogs, beginning with personal stories before spiraling into a bizarre, mockumentary-style conspiracy.
Filmed in Warburton, Victoria, Australia, the project follows filmmaker Diesel and his 14-year-old dog, Dozer. While it starts by examining the emotional connections and the two-way nature of domestication, it quickly pivots into a science-fiction narrative involving alleged secret messages between dogs and the CIA.
The film explores outrageous theories, such as dogs using scent markings to exchange coded information or a Maltese named Pipsqueak leading a global canine organization. By blending genuine sentiment with absurd comedy and UFO sightings, it asks whether humans have fundamentally underestimated the intelligence of the animals they have lived alongside for thousands of years.
